KEY TASKS 1.

COMMISSIONING 1 Commissions equipment on customer sites in U.K, Europe and Worldwide. 2 Spends up to 8 weeks on a commissioning depending on size of plant. 3 Takes full responsibility for Health & Safety on our own on site activities. 4 Achieves close liaison with on site contractors and engineers and customers, in order to ensure successful completion of commissioning. 5 Responsible for the training process with customer. 6 Attends meetings with customer to provide advice and support.

SERVICE 1 Services equipment on customer sites in U.K, Europe and Worldwide. 2 Attends emergency service calls and also planned calls to customers. 3 Ascertains nature of equipment problem and ensures that all necessary spares and tools are available. 4 Liaisons with all levels of client companies through the M.D/Owner level.

HEALTH & SAFETY 1 Has a good knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations in order to be fully responsible for Health & Safety of equipment during commissioning.  Is aware of all associated safety issues to ensure own personal safety when on site. 2 Keeps abreast of changes in legislation on Health & Safety Regulations.

REPORTING 1 Reports daily to the Service Manager on progress of service/ commissioning. 2 Produces brief comprehensive reports in writing for company records. 3 Produces clear concise verbal and written reports on issues where difficulties or disputes have arisen.

OTHER 1 Works independently on site. 2 Works out own job priorities and time scale. 3 Adapts to widely differing work environments. 4Identifies with foreign culture and socialises as and when necessary. 5 Uses computers to basic levels. 6 Keeps up to date with the latest technical developments and legislation in the related industry, including informal training and outside courses. 7 Influences customers to develop/continue ongoing relationship and improve customer awareness of products and services. 8 Carries through any other task required by the Service Manager. 9 Out of hours service phone rota.
