To assist the technical staff, the fleet and facilities Manager and other key distribution staff in ensuring that all owned and operated pressure systems are developed and maintained to the highest standard.

KEY TASKS

1.          To ensure that your actions or omissions do not create unacceptable safety and health risks to yourself or other persons.

2.          To report any shortcomings in the company’s safety control measures.

3.          To carry out all duties in accordance with Company and industry standards and legislative requirements.

4.          The manufacture, installation, modification and testing of all Distribution transfer and storage equipment.

5.          To provide the Distribution department with a quality, rapid response repair and maintenance service on and off site.

6.          To manufacture, install, modify and test prototype equipment solutions relating to application development.

7.          To efficiently and safely install and maintain gas storage and transfer equipment at customers’ premises.

8.          To repair and refurbish equipment CryoService owned and operated pressure systems both on and off site.

9.          To maintain a clean, safe and organised working area.

10.        To continually reassess past work and suggest improvement.

11.        To take an active part in the documentation of activities including quality control.

12.        To undertake any other reasonable task requested by an appropriate authority.

You will be working as part of a small team who maintain the Company’s large fleet of cryogenic tanker equipment and large depot storage

facilities across the UK and Ireland.

Ideally you will have a background in a service/maintenance role within a busy workshop environment. You will also have a strong

fabrication background and experience in welding (predominantly TIG) with appropriate coding standards to BS EN 278.

Whilst full training on Company equipment and activities (including full product familiarisation) will be provided, industrial experience of pumps,

pipe systems and mechanical equipment maintenance would be an advantage.

You will also be self-motivated, able to work to tight deadlines with minimum supervision, team focused and be able to organise your own

work and resources.
