This company are a trade moulder of thin wall fast cycled injection moulded components. They one of the larger manufacturers of products for the food, housewares and officewares industries in the North West. A hardworking and motivated moulding professional is required to join a team of successful Injection Mould Setter’s on the afternoon shift
Duties:
Working as an Injection Mould Setter you will be responsible for the Setting of injection moulding machinery. This will include regular tool changes, material changes, condition setting, some routine maintenance and additional roles as required by the company such as trialing. You will also be tasked with trying to optimise the moulding process where possible whilst ensuring that component quality remains your number one objective. You will be based in the North West working on a permanent 8 hour afternoon shift. Overtime will be available as when it is required by the company
Requirements:
The ideal candidate, will be responsible for efficient tool changes, this will also include setting the injection mould machines, process optimisation, production trouble shooting, basic machine maintenance and assisting with new tool and material trials. Ideally the right candidate will be an experienced Injection Mould Setter who has worked in a trade moulding department performing many tool changes per day. Experience using a Klockner Ferromatic machine is desirable but not essential. The candidate should possess knowledge of machines, commodity polymers and engineering thermoplastics.
