The Company: This company is a leading global cable management business. In the United Kingdom this company are one of the leading suppliers of products to industry sectors including Construction, Broadband, Security and Utilities. Duties:Working as a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out complete electrical PPM’s on the following equipment;
- Injection moulding machines including Netstall, BMB and Arburg
- Tool water temperature controllers (flushing / reconditioning)
- Hydraulics & pneumatics on robots – Geiger, Sytrama, Yushin and ATM
- Granulators
- Conveyors
- Water heaters
Further duties include;
- To replace water manifolds and undertake machine oil changes
- To safely stop machines to carry out PPM’s and successfully re-start on completion
- Support the existing maintenance team with general breakdowns
- Comply with department / company procedures.
Requirements: You must have a strong Injection Moulding Machine Maintenance background with a knowledge of electrical systems as well as mechanical knowledge. This is an injection moulding company however specific knowledge of injection moulding beneficial but is NOT essential for the role. The right candidate will be familiar with PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controls) including PLC programming.
