We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Engineer to join our expanding engineering team, which performs a pivotal role across all key company activities. Initially reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will be expected to manage and deliver a detailed legislative based technical project to key milestones with-in an aggressive timetable. Upon successful completion of this project, the successful candidate will then take up a position in the Technical Services Department providing internal and external customers with engineering support. Key aspects of this role are: • Specification and design of cryogenic and high pressure gas systems for gaseous and liquid applications. • Project management from conception to completion. • Awareness of, and commitment to,budget management. • Keeping abreast of, and working within, legislation; both industry specific (e.g. PSSR 2000, PED) and general (e.g. HASWA, DSEAR) The nature of the initial project responsibilities means we are seeking a candidate who will hit the ground running and deliver results quickly. Excellent communication skills are essential for both this initial, and future roles, along with the drive and enthusiasm to manage projects through to completion, working individually and as a member of the team. Experience of the industry would be an advantage but is not required. The successful candidate will be a degree-qualified Chemical or Mechanical Engineer (or similar) with post-graduate experience in an engineering role. Full consideration will also be given to a candidate holding a HNC/HND in a relevant Engineering discipline.
